5 out of 5 stars Waterproof   October 6, 2008

I bought these for my husband who wears them with heavy socks for irrigating and hunting. They fit well and are of exceptional quality for $17.

I feel like all the Alaskan guys I saw last summer. A warm pair of sox underneath, and life is dry! Great service

Great item! Have already used several times and is exactly as is described.

3 out of 5 stars decent, but flawed.   August 27, 2006

These are decent boots, and they have the advantage of being slightly higher than one would expect, coming to just a few inches below my knees.

On thing I've found is that since they are black, if you use them in direct sunlight, they will become very uncomfortably hot. They are also fairly thin.

Another thing missing is a a ridge on the back of the boot to make taking them off easier. Previous boots of this type had that, which let me take off the boot with the other foot quite easily.

On the other hand, these boots are quite cheap, so FOR THE MONEY it's still not a bad deal.
