Product Description The perfectly designed outdoor eating utensil. Our spoon-fork-knife combo brings a bit of civilization to the wild and a bit of the wild to civilization. Good, but dangerous June 13, 2008 Michael Litton (Wellington, CO United States) These work as advertised. It's nice to have a full sized fork to work with, as well as a full sized spoon. This gets rid of the worst of all worlds that is a traditional spork. Be aware that on the fork size, there is a little plastic knife. My wife ended up lightly cutting herself on the lip because she was not aware of this while using the product for the first time.
Love the spnork! May 6, 2008 Desi Mommy (Northern NJ United States) This is a durable and practical product which is kid-friendly and environmentally friendly. I put these into my kids lunch boxes at school as part of their waste-free lunches. They are dishwasher safe and can withstand wear and tear by two school-age kids. The serrated edge on the fork is easy for a preschooler to use safely without being too sharp or dangerous. Plus the innovative design is a kick for kids and parents. The reusable feature is important to me because it minimizes the need for disposable flatware.
Works great!! April 14, 2008 jontwo (Princeton NJ) Tried them on a two-week trip. Super--in the airport, on the road, in the jungle, etc. Didn't try the knife but it seemed like it might do fine. Best design spork we've used.
Good addition to our camping gear. March 27, 2008 G. Busch (South Texas) These sporks make a good addition to our camping food utensils. Once we get the hang of spreading things like cream cheese using the back of the spoon (because the knife is not good for that) we'll have it down!
ouch, that sorta hurts... October 9, 2007 Chris M. Graver (Chicago, IL United States) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I don't often write reviews, but my disappointment with this item should be noted. I bought this to go camping with. The colors and utility of these little guys make them pretty neat. The problem I ran into was the serrated edge of the fork-side. When putting something in your mouth with that side, its easy to tear the corner of your mouth a tiny bit... but if you're eating more than one mouthful, it can be painful before you realize what you're doing. A little complaint, for a little product.
